Uvalde Shooting: Who’s To Blame?

People continue to look at superficial arguments to support their political beliefs rather than finding an answer to the problem. While I do think placing armed guards at schools is a better solution than more background checks (which wouldn’t have even worked in Uvalde considering he passed) it is still just a band-aid that doesn’t root cause the issue at hand.

Did you know that 75% of all adolescent murderers are from fatherless homes? Or that 85% of all adolescents diagnosed with mental disorders are from fatherless homes? Or even that 63% of youth suicides are from fatherless homes? Those are some staggeringly high percentages and should be a good place to start looking for real answers.

But guess what? It doesn’t help anyone win elections. In fact, it probably would piss a lot of people off to realize that they’re part of the problem.

Reality can sometimes be a hard pill to swallow.

In the times we live in no one takes accountability for their own choices so I wouldn’t expect things to change anytime soon. They’d rather lean on their government to create a scapegoat so that they can pass blame from themselves.
